Specializing in neurodevelopmental interventions and gentle manual medicine, Dana has dedicated decades to helping infants reach their early motor milestones with confidence.
Dana Yeomans PT, MSPT

With over 30 years of experience serving the greater Lansing community, Dana Yeomans provides specialized pediatric physical therapy with a focus on infant development. Her career is built on deep-rooted connections with local medical providers, ensuring a seamless, coordinated care experience for every family. Dana excels at guiding her young clients toward their unique developmental milestones by fostering a true partnership between families and their healthcare teams, leading to meaningful and positive outcomes. Her background spans trauma centers, hospitals, home-based care, outpatient clinics and virtual therapy, culminating in the creation of a specialized private clinical practice.
The Journey PLLC was established to integrate manual medicine with functional activities, emphasize family education, and provide supportive coaching. This holistic philosophy views each child within the context of their entire family unit to truly enhance their quality of life. Dana is proud to collaborate with Resilient Physical Therapy to provide this patient-centered, high-quality care. A dedicated advocate for evidence-based practice, Dana centers her work on the relationship between neuromuscular structure and function. She has committed her career to continuous learning and mentorship, specifically in infant care. By creating a nurturing environment through manual influence and guided developmental play, she empowers children to thrive on their individualized paths.
Dana’s clinical expertise is further highlighted by her extensive training in manipulative manual medicine through the Michigan State University College of Osteopathic Medicine (MSU COM) Continuing Medical Education . She has served as a Clinical Instructor for resident Doctors of Osteopathy and contributes as faculty to the Pediatric Manual Medicine curriculum at MSU COM, providing expert care and education partnering with the MSU Health Care system. She holds a Master of Science in Physical Therapy from Central Michigan University and a Bachelor of Science from the University of Iowa. As a lifelong learner and mentor, Dana continuously collaborates with elite medical professionals to refine her skills and provide the highest level of service to her clients.
Dana believes that every child is on a unique journey of becoming who they are meant to be, and she is honored to support them and their families along that path.
